Search ID
The Search ID menu item within the FliteChart
Function allows you to search for a specific airport
identifier. As this operation requires multiple key-
strokes to look up a specific chart, it is not recom-
mended as the primary mechanism for accessing the
charts, but does allow for flexibility. When an airport
is located, it will be set as the currently selected
airport. Airport identifiers must be entered with the
prefix; in the continental United States the prefix is
“K” and in Alaska the prefix is “P.”
1. Press MENU/ENT and then press the Search
ID Menu Item key and select the Airport ID.

2. Use the two keys on the left, or the rotary knob,
to choose the letters and the two keys on the
right to move the cursor. Pressing the knob
pushbutton moves the cursor to the right.
3. Press MENU/ENT to select the desired Airport
ID.
