GDL 69/69A FIS Forecast Menu Page 2
The second menu option page of the Forecast
(Fcst) FIS function lets you select options for the
choices of: Freezing Levels, County Warnings,
Cyclones, TFR Labels, and Label.

Freezing Levels
Freezing Level data shows the color-coded contour
lines for the altitude and location at which the Freezing
Level is found. When no data is displayed for a given
altitude, the data for that altitude has not been received,
or is out of date and has been removed from the display.
New data appears on the next update.
County
The County selection provides specific public
awareness and protection weather warnings for Hur-
ricanes, Tornados, Severe Thunderstorms, Floods*,
Flash Floods*, and special Maritime conditions*
provided by the National Weather Service (NWS).
* These conditions are noted by a single common
symbol.
Refer to the Legend for a description of the color
coding.
XM FIS County Warnings Legend
1. Press the Å or Æ arrow keys to display the
legends for the selected services.
2. Press Done to turn the Legends off.
Cyclone
This product is not available at this time.
TFR Label
Press MENU/ENT key and then press the TFR Lbl
key to toggle the TFR Identifier Labels on and off. The
TFR Identifier Labels note the TFR number and upper
altitude near the TFR outline. When selected, TFR
labels will be displayed when the zoom scale is
50 NM or less.
Label
Press MENU/ENT key and then press the Label
key to toggle the station labels on and off.
Press the Next Page key to display the next page
of menu items.
