Displaying traffic information on the Navigation Map Display:
1)
From the Home Screen, touch Map > Map Settings > Map Options.
2)
If necessary, touch the Sensors Tab.
3)
Touch the Traffic Button.
Put the Traffic Advisory System in standby mode:
1)
From the Home Screen, touch Traffic > Traffic Settings.
2)
Touch the Standby Button. The button annunciator is green when standby
mode is enabled, gray when disabled.
Testing the Traffic Advisory System:
1)
From the Home Screen, touch Traffic > Traffic Settings.
2)
If the traffic system is in Standby Mode (Standby Button annunciator is
green), proceed to step 4.
3)
Touch the Standby Button to place the traffic system in Standby Mode.
4)
Touch the Test Button.
Changing the altitude range:
1)
From the Home Screen, touch Traffic > Traffic Settings.
2)
Touch one of the following Altitude Mode Buttons:
Un
restricted: All traffic is displayed from 9900 feet above and 9900 feet
below the aircraft.
Ab
ove: Displays non-threat and proximity traffic from 9000 feet above the
aircraft to 2700 feet below the aircraft. Typically used during climb phase
of flight.
No
rmal: Displays non-threat and proximity traffic from 2700 feet above the
aircraft to 2700 feet below the aircraft. Typically used during enroute phase
of flight.
Be
low: Displays non-threat and proximity traffic from 2700 feet above the
aircraft to 9000 feet below the aircraft. Typically used during descent phase
of flight.
