FMS NAVIGATION
DIRECT-TO NAVIGATION
Direct-to Navigation from the Touchscreen Controller
1)
From the Home Screen on the Touchscreen Controller, touch Direct To.
2)
Touch the Select Waypoint Button to display the keypad.
3)
Use the keypad to select the waypoint identifier.
4)
Touch the Enter Button to accept the identifier, and return to the Direct To
Screen.
5)
Touch the VNAV Altitude Button to display the keypad.
6)
Use the keypad to select the altitude.
7)
Touch the Enter Button to accept the altitude, and return to the Direct To
Screen.
8)
Touch the VNAV Offset Button to display the keypad.
9)
Touch the (Before) - Button or the (After) + Button, if necessary.
10)
Use the keypad to select the offset distance.
11)
Touch the Enter Button to accept the offset distance, and return to the
Direct To Screen.
12)
Touch the Activate ¯ Button to activate the direct-to.
Direct-to Navigation from the PFD
1)
On the PFD Controller, press the ¯ Button to display the Direct To Window.
2)
Turn the large PFD Knob to move the cursor to the identifier field, if necessary.
3)
Turn the small PFD Knob one click to activate the editing cursor (flashing).
4)
Turn the large and small PFD knobs to select the identifier (large knob
moves the cursor; small knob selects the character)
5)
Press the ENT Key or the small PFD Knob to accept the selection.
6)
Turn the large PFD Knob to move the cursor to the ALT field.
7)
Turn the small PFD Knob one click to activate the editing cursor (flashing).
8)
Turn the large and small PFD knobs to select the altitude (large knob
moves the cursor; small knob selects the character).
9)
Press the ENT Key or the small PFD Knob to accept the selection and move
the cursor to the OFFSET field.
