NOTE: Terrain data is not displayed when the aircraft latitude is greater
than 75° North or 60° South.
NOTE: Terrain-SVT is standard when the Synthetic Vision Technology
(SVT) option is installed. The TAWS option will take precedence over
Terrain-SVT.
NOTE: Limitation for SafeTaxi® use in Europe: Do not use SafeTaxi or
Chartview functions as the basis for ground maneuvering. SafeTaxi and
Chartview functions do not comply with the requirements of AC 20-159
and are not qualifi ed to be used as an airport moving map display
(AMMD). SafeTaxi and Chartview are to be used by the fl ight crew to orient
themselves on the airport surface to improve pilot situational awareness
during ground operations.
