Changing the Trafc Settings

NOTE: You can only access the trafc settings if your nüvi is connected to external

power and an FM TMC trafc receiver.

North American Options

The FM trafc services that you have subscriptions to are listed followed by the

expiration date of the subscription. Touch Add to add a subscription.

Non-North American Options

Auto—select which provider to use. Select Auto to use the best provider for the area,

or select a specic provider to use always.

Search—search for additional TMC trafc providers. To increase the search time,

touch Yes to clear provider table.

Subscriptions—view your subscriptions.

Adding a Subscription

You can purchase additional subscriptions or a renewal if your subscription expires;

go to Garmin’s FM Trafc Web site at www.garmin.com/fmtrafc.

1. From the Menu page, touch > Trafc.

2. For Non-North American units, touch Subscriptions > Add. For North

American units, touch Add.

3. Write down the FM trafc receiver’s unit ID. Go to www.garmin.com/fmtrafc to

purchase a subscription and get a 25-character code.
