Removing a user-defined hold (created at the aircraft present position
or at a Direct-To waypoint):
1)
Press the Direct To Key to display the DIRECT TO Window (PFD or MFD).
2)
Press the MENU Key to display the PAGE MENU with the cursor on the
‘Cancel Direct To NAV’ selection.
3)
Press the ENT Key. The holding pattern is removed.
Removing a user-defined hold (created at an active flight plan
waypoint):
1)
Press the FPL Key to display the Active Flight Plan Page (MFD) or the Active
Flight Plan Window (PFD).
2)
Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor (not required on the PFD) and
turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the HOLD waypoint.
3)
Press the CLR Key. A ‘Remove Holding Pattern?’ confirmation window is
displayed.
4)
Select ‘OK’ and press the ENT Key. The holding pattern is removed from
the active flight plan. Select ‘CANCEL’ and press the ENT Key to cancel the
removal of the holding pattern.
INVERT AN ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN
1)
Press the FPL Key to display the active flight plan.
2)
Press the MENU Key to display the Page Menu.
3)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight ‘Invert Flight Plan’.
4)
Press the ENT Key. The original flight plan remains intact in its flight plan
catalog storage location.
5)
With ‘OK’ highlighted, press the ENT Key to invert the flight plan.
REMOVE A DEPARTURE, ARRIVAL, APPROACH, OR AIRWAY FROM A FLIGHT
PLAN
1)
Press the FPL Key to display the active flight plan. Press the FMS Knob to
activate the cursor.
Or, for a stored flight plan:
a)
Press the FPL Key on the MFD.
b)
Turn the small FMS Knob to select the Flight Plan Catalog Page.
