Turn either FMS Knob to highlight the desired approach.

Press the ENT Key. A list of available transitions for the selected approach
procedure is now displayed.
6)
Turn either FMS Knob to select the desired transition. The “Vectors”
option assumes vectors will be received to the final course segment of
the approach and will provide navigation guidance relative to the final
approach course.
7)
Press the ENT Key. The cursor moves to the MINIMUMS field.
8)
If desired, the DA/MDA for the selected approach procedure may be
entered and displayed on the PFD. Turn the small
FMS
Knob in the
direction of the green arrow to change the display from OFF to BARO.
9)
Press the
ENT
Key. The cursor moves to the altitude field. Turn the small
FMS
Knob to enter the published DA/MDA for the selected approach
procedure.
10)
Press the ENT Key. ‘LOAD? or ACTIVATE?’ is now displayed with ‘LOAD?’
highlighted.
11)
Turn the large FMS Knob to select either ‘LOAD?’ or ACTIVATE?’.
Selecting ‘LOAD?’ enters the selected approach procedure into the active
flight plan, but is not currently active. Selecting ACTIVATE?’ enters the
selected approach procedure into the active flight plan and activates the
first leg of the approach.
12)
Press the ENT Key.
ACTIVATE AN APPROACH IN THE ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN
1)
Press the PROC Key.
2)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight ‘ACTIVATE APPROACH’.
3)
Press the ENT Key.
ACTIVATE A VECTOR TO FINAL APPROACH FIX
1)
Press the PROC Key.
2)
Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight ‘ACTIVATE VECTOR-TO-FINAL’.
3)
Press the ENT Key.
4)
The final approach course becomes the active leg.
